Sonam Deki participates in Lake Forest College Spring Break Service Trip

Sonam Deki `14, of Thimpu, , traveled to Dade City, Florida March 10-17, 2012 with Lake Forest College for the annual Spring Break Service Trip.

A collaborative effort with the Lake Forest College Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, the College's Gates Center supports an alternative, service-focused Spring Break trip each year. This opportunity allows students to practice key leadership, team building, and communications skills while learning a new subset of home-care skills. The students will be working on eight Habitat for Humanity homes under construction.
