Samantha Gardner Graduates from Lake Forest College

Samantha Gardner of Littleton, CO, graduated from Lake Forest College with a bachelor of arts degree in finance and philosophy cum laude. Gardner was named to the Dean's List. Her thesis "Economic Apocalypse: The Financial Derivatives Story" was awarded distinction.

Gardner was one of the 323 students to graduate from Lake Forest College at Ravinia Festival Park on May 11, 2013. Honorary degree recipient Stephen Schwartz gave an inspiring commencement address about how life is full of many failures and a few successes. He likened the students to be like the children's toy, Weebles, "Weebles wooble but they don't fall down." Gardner is a graduate of Summit County High School in Frisco, CO.
