Maya Beckles Studies Abroad in Chicago, Illinois

Lake Forest College student Maya Beckles '13 of Smith's, Bermuda, is spending the fall 2012 semester studying abroad in Chicago, Illinois with the Lake Forest in the Loop Program.

Lake Forest College In The Loop extends curricular choice for students by offering a mix of learning options and internship opportunities. Students reside in downtown Chicago and learn about various distinctive aspects of the city through academic programming and co-curricular activities. 

Beckles is a graduate of Waterford Kamhlaba United World College in Mbabane Hhohho, Swaziland.

Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,500 students representing 48 states and 79 countries.
