Maria Naumann Participates in Richter Scholars Program at Lake Forest College

Maria Naumann `16 of Richmond, VT was selected as a Richter Scholar at Lake Forest College. Naumann will work on a psychology research project with Professor Susan Long titled, "Community Partners Ending Violence Against Women." Naumann will analyze data from surveys on domestic violence and social services in Chicago to assess effectiveness.

The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research.

Naumann is a graduate of Mount Mansfield Union High School in Jericho Center, VT.
