Jessica Bilello Participates in Richter Scholars Program at Lake Forest College

Jessica Bilello `14 of Mundelein, IL has been named a Richter Scholar at Lake Forest College.

The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed for ten weeks as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research.

Bilello is working with Professor Emilie Amrein to research cued speech as an alternate method of teaching singers how to pronounce words in foreign languages.

Bilello is a graduate of Willows Academy in Des Plaines, IL.
