Issac Acosta Receives Award From Lake Forest College

Lake Forest College hosts its annual Leadership Awards ceremony every spring, where it recognizes outstanding student achievements.

Issac Acosta '13, of College Point, New York, was awarded the Edward H. Oppenheimer Memorial Prize. The Edward H. Oppenheimer Memorial Prize Awards are given each year to a senior man and a senior woman who are judged to have contributed the most to the College community. This is one of the highest honors the College bestows on a senior student. The prize, given by James K. Oppenheimer, Class of 1965, honors his father.

Acosta is a graduate of Francis Lewis High School in Fresh Meadows, New York.
