Hilary Wind Participates in Richter Scholars Program at Lake Forest College

Hilary Wind `14 of Oak Lawn, IL has been named a Richter Scholar at Lake Forest College.

The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed for ten weeks as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research.

Wind is working in a guppy laboratory to study the evolution of sexual behavior in guppies and analyzing how this influences mate choice over time to drive the maintenance of polymorphism for this species with Professor Anne Houde.

Wind is a graduate of Harold L Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL.
