Garrett Pluhar-Schaeffer Participates in Richter Scholars Program at Lake Forest College

Garrett Pluhar-Schaeffer `14 of Park Ridge, IL has been named a Richter Scholar at Lake Forest College.

The Richter Apprentice Scholar Program offers a unique research opportunity to a small group of outstanding students early in their college careers. During the summer between their first and second years, Richter Scholars are employed for ten weeks as apprentice scholars working one-on-one with faculty members conducting independent research.

Pluhar- Schaeffer is working with Professor Chad McCracken to study the political and philosophical implications of Shariah Law in America.

Pluhar-Schaeffer is a graduate of Maine Township High School South in Park Ridge, IL.
