Christina Pekar Awarded Scholarship to Attend Lake Forest College

Christina Pekar `15 of Arlington Heights, IL, has been awarded a Gates Leadership Scholarship and a Illinois In-State Scholarship to attend Lake Forest College.

The Gates Leadership Scholarship is a Forester Scholarship. Forester Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated special ability in and dedication to art, foreign language, leadership, music, theater, writing, or science (including the natural, mathematical, and computer sciences).   

Illinois In-State Scholarships are awarded to well-qualified students who reside in Illinois.

Pekar is a graduate of Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, IL.
